Hello Romenceland-ers!!

For the end of year 2012 I will share all things the most.

Let’s the fun begin!

The Most Favorite Book :

Breathe (Colorado Mountain, #4)

This book definitely my favorite and also the second most frequently read (4 times!!!). There’s few competitor for the title, but this amazing story win the vote because there was not a single thing I didn’t like, none whatsoever that made me thought that this book was not perfect. Yes this book wasn’t flawless but it made the whole aspect of this book much more satisfying for me. Click here for my review.

The Most Frequently Read :

Motorcycle Man (Dream Man, #4)

This one almost made itself for become my favorite read, but I choose this one as my frequently read (4.5 times – why I used half measurement, coz there’s a time when I re-read it just for refreshing my favorite moments, basically just scan it). I love the couple, but the hero, Tack, win me over completely. Click here for my review.

The Most Favorite Author :

Without no further ado, this amazing author absolutely and utterly are my favorite author for this year.

Kristen Ashley

The Most Favorite Hero :

(The Picture is image of Acheron taken from Sherrilyn Kenyon official website

Yes. For you who claimed as paranormal romance genre lovers, the infamous Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon and her focal character Acheron surely wasn’t a novel thought.  Ash. Akri. T-Rex. Achimou. My everlasting favorite hero. Sure, his position as my fave hero always had and always will be shaken by another contender, another alpha male hero, another gorgeous guy. But, he will always held the top five of my favorite hero.  Click here for my review.

The Most Favorite Heroine :

The heroine from Guild Hunter series (Angels’ Blood, Archangel Kiss, Archangel Consort) by Nalini Singh crawl up as my favorite heroine in few days time. Yes, I just recently started the series week ago and finished it today and Elena – the new immortal angel – somehow caught my attention so strongly. I love how she was trying compromised between her relationship with the hero, Raphael, without losing herself as independent warrior woman.

The Most Surprising Books :

The Siren (The Original Sin...The Angel (The Original Sin...The Prince (The Original Si...Seven Day Loan (The Origina...

This series categorized as erotica genre with BDSM theme surprisingly didn’t revolt me. In fact the series amazingly got me hooked up, crave for more of the characters and for the happily ever after which was quite impossibly  happen.  I wasn’t a fan of erotica, but enjoyed  erotic romance (note the different  please) and I was absolutely didn’t loved BDSM theme but ended like it like A LOT. Weird. But, this books surprisingly well written, so that was enough  explanation. Click my review of the series in here, here, and here.

Thursday I’m In Love #2

Thursday I’m In Love is about sharing book character your in love with. It’s not supposed limited only for the hero or heroine but you could choose the secondary character, even animal character. Also explain why you pick her/him. Don’t forget to mention the title and the author.

So, who’s I’m in love with?

*drum roll please……

For those who claimed yourself as Kristen Ashley addict I bet you love her as well. Yeah, Faye was the heroine from Breathe, the 4th book of Colorado Mountain series by Kristen Ashley. Click here for check my review.

Why I loved her? She was 29 years librarian, romance novel addict, and also a geek. Described as medium height with auburn hair and blue eyes. Being a shy and dreamer she hold out herself for her perfect hero, her knight with shining armor, who will sweep her of her feet. Yes, she really holding out herself for the one, for 13 years since she was 16 and looking at Chace Keaton – the hero in the story – for the first time. She came from wonderful family thus kindness and loyalty were part of her. She also a loving, caring and strong woman. Not really sassy if you compared her with other Kristen Ashley heroines.  Because the geek part she could be hilarious, notably when she was annoyed and angry – babbling and made reference from her favorite TV show Battlestar Galactica and Star Wars. One word for Faye : sweet.

Here’s how I imagining Faye : beautiful-redhead-girl-blue-eyes-pink-lips-photo-wallpaper-1920x1200

Breathe (Colorado Mountain, #4)

In order to protect a father he does not respect, in Lady Luck, we learned that good cop Chace Keaton went bad, sacrificing his career and his future. But when the local police department’s secrets are revealed and the wife he’s forced to marry is murdered, Chace finds himself the town of Carnal’s hero. Knowing how deep in the mud he was forced to sink, Chace feels he’ll never get clean. The quiet, content future he envisioned of the love a good woman with whom he could build a family was now beyond his reach. The only thing he can do is find his wife’s murderer. But he isn’t the only one looking.

While searching for new leads, he runs into Faye Goodknight, the town’s quiet, shy, pretty librarian. Chace has long since had his eye on what could possibly be the town’s last remaining virgin but he has also long since given up hope he could make her his. Faye is pure and clean and Chace refuses to dirty her with his sordid past.

Pure and clean Faye may be, but when the shy librarian is forced to go head to head with the man who she’s had a crush on since he hit her hometown, Chace finds Faye is full of surprises. And he doesn’t know what to do with her.

When She Said I Do (Worthington #1)

By : Celeste Bradley

Publication Date : January 29th 2013

Caught in a rainstorm, Miss Calliope Worthington takes shelter in a seemingly abandoned mansion. But when she finds a string of pearls in a dusty chest, she is caught red-handed by the house’s reclusive owner—Mr. Ren Porter—a fiery demon of a man who demands that Callie pay for the necklace…with her innocence.

When he first lays eyes on the beautiful trespasser, Ren mistakes her for an angel. But when he realizes Callie is a thief, he strikes a bargain she cannot refuse. She must take his hand in marriage and pay him back in full: one night of passion for each stolen pearl. But when Callie surrenders to his desires—night after wicked night—he awakens something deep inside of her. Something powerful and passionate. Like a fairy tale come true, the monster she married has become the man she loves…when she said I do.

I always enjoyed Celeste Bradley’s historical romance . And finally she published the new series after long hiatus. Looking forward to read this new installment…can not wait until January 29th – and guess what, the same date as my birthday,,yay 😉

Lisa Kleypas : Janji Di Tengah Malam / Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways #1)

Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways, #1)Janji di Tengah Malam (The Hathaways, #1)
When an unexpected inheritance elevates her family to the ranks of the aristocracy, Amelia Hathaway discovers that tending to her younger sisters and wayward brother was easy compared to navigating the intricacies of the ton. Even more challenging: the attraction she feels for the tall, dark, and dangerously handsome Cam Rohan.
Wealthy beyond most men’s dreams, Cam has tired of society’s petty restrictions and longs to return to his “uncivilized” Gypsy roots. When the delectable Amelia appeals to him for help, he intends to offer only friendship – but intentions are no match for the desire that blindsides them both. But can a man who spurns tradition be tempted into that most time-honored arrangement: marriage? Life in London society is about to get a whole lot hotter.

The Prince (The Original Sinners, #3)

The Prince (The Original Sinners #3)

By :Tiffany Reisz

Published : November 20th 2012

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer…preferably in bed. That’s always been Kingsley Edge’s strategy with his associate, the notorious New York dominatrix Nora Sutherlin. But with Nora away in Kentucky, now it’s Kingsley’s chance to take her place at the feet of the only man he’s ever wanted — Søren, Nora’s on-again, off-again lover — until a new threat from an old enemy forces him to confront his past.

Wes Railey is still the object of Nora’s tamest yet most maddening fantasies, and the one man she can’t forget. He’s young. He’s wonderful. He’s also thoroughbred royalty and she’s in “his” world now. But Nora is no simpering Southern belle, and her dream of fitting into Wesley’s world is perpetually at odds with her dear Søren’s relentlessly seductive pull.

Two worlds of wealth and passion call to her and whichever one Nora chooses, it will be the hardest decision she will ever have to make… unless someone makes it for her..

My teaser :

“You’re learning Portuguese, too?” Kingsley asked. ” How many languages do you speak?”

“I’m bilingual. What do they call someone like you?”

Stearns arched an eyebrow at him “Intelligent”

I already  put this book in my Wishlist Wednesday post, click here. I thought net-galley didn’t approved my request, though I asked it months before. But yesterday I got notification in my email that they approved it : YAY.  This book is the third installment, you could find my review of the previous books in here and here.  I loved this series though BDSM theme wasn’t my favorite theme in a book. This series was an exception for me. I must put warning that this book was for adult only, not for the faint of heart, and  not for those who didn’t like erotica romance, but maybe if you enjoyed 50 shades by E.L James you could peek at this one (though  I’m not sure you gonna like it).

PS : It should have only 2 sentences but I loved this particular conversation so pardon me if I made it against the rule
