All He Ever Needed (Kowalski Family #4)
By : Shanon Stacey
He won’t stay put for a woman, and she won’t chase after any man…
Mitch Kowalski lives out of a suitcase—and he likes it that way. Traveling for work has the added bonus of scaring off women who would otherwise try to tie him down. But when he’s called home to help with the family lodge, he’s intrigued by the new girl in town and her insistence that she doesn’t need a man. If there’s one thing Mitch can’t resist, it’s a challenge.
After a nomadic childhood, Paige Sullivan is finally putting down roots. Determined to stand on her own two feet, she lives by the motto “Men are a luxury, not a necessity.” But when Mr. Tall, Dark and Hot pulls up a stool in her diner and offers her six weeks of naughty fun with a built-in expiration date, she’s tempted to indulge.
They’re the perfect match for a no-strings fling. Until they realize their sexy affair has become anything but casual…
My Review :
3 stars/5 stars
In the previous book, Yours To Keep, we met another Kowalski family branch. And in this book the hero, Mitch, was the oldest brother, who famously known as a player, finally met his destined one. I liked the characters, Mitch and Paige were quite loveable couple. Mitch was described as ladies man – geez he slept almost with every women in the town. It’s interesting how the mighty fallen. Paige with her man issue made their interaction very enjoyable for the reader.
The romance was sweet and heartwarming. The family problem made the story felt real. How every person compromise, and made an adjustment to the present situation. There’s also humor mix in the story. But unfortunately this book didn’t hit me as hard as the previous installment. The story felt dragged too far and despite the sweetness between the couple they didn’t evoke my emotion as I hope for.
Overall, this book is a quick read, with decent storyline and enjoyable romance. Looking forward to read the next book, All He Ever Desired.
“Who open jars for you?”
“I have a little gadget that does that.”
“But…” He grinned. “What about sex?”
“I have a little gadget that does that, too.”
